A Cooking Lesson in a Florentine Culinary Institute

A true appreciation of Italian life necessarily brings an appreciation of Italian food! Countless visitors to Italy remain enthralled by the style and quality of fine dining all’italiana. Capture a bit of the magic to take home and recreate with a hands-on lesson in Italian cuisine at one of the country’s foremost culinary institutes. Lessons are conducted in English by master chefs, last approximately three hours and involve lots of practical experience – although any level of amateur chef is welcome. The atmosphere is informal and fun while the instruction is authentic with insights into Italian traditions and techniques. Typically several specialty dishes are prepared and each lesson culminates with a shared meal featuring them and accompanied by paired wines. The school is centrally-located and the kitchens and facilities are state-of-the-art. Lessons are typically held in the early evening and the weekly cycle of offerings features lessons focusing on Regional Cuisine (Mondays), Tuscan Cuisine (Tuesdays) and Vegetarian Cooking (Wednesdays).
