The owners, a Belgian cardiologist and his wife, have taken full advantage of the open plan and high ceilings of the structure to create a dramatic contemporary living space. Their unique taste is evident throughout with one-of-a-kind pieces such as a chair carved from an enormous oak trunk and its matching desk made of the upper branches.
The proximity to the village of Montefiorale – just a few minutes walk from the gate – is extremely convenient with two restaurants and shops as well as a beautiful castle. Florence, along the fast-moving Chiantigiana Road is just 40 minutes away.
